Tallarn Ogryns Complete

I'm almost embarrassed to post given the true level of awesome that is Ghoulio's work, but here we go anyway with the finally complete Ogryn unit.
Here are the two new boys. A guy with complete head dress, and the gritty sarg with Blue sash of title. I wanted these guys to be mimicing my Tallarn humans as much as possible so their color scheme is close, and they have the Tallarn headgear, and blue "veteran" sashes. Quite pleased with how they turned out. Now all I gotta do is take some better photos. My new wife and I are moving to a place that has a rec room in the basement, so a nice place for a permanent painting space!
And a group shot since they are now a team.... a super team. Just have to paint a Commissar Lord to lead them, and a Chimera for the whole assault squad to ride in.

Mawloc!

I finally got off my butt and painted this guy. I have a tournament coming up in two weeks and after a couple of test games I really wanted to make sure he was in my list. I have to say the Trygon/Mawloc kit is one of the best ones GW makes. I just loved painting this guy. Overall I am really happy how he turned out. I did rush him a little bit (he doesnt have as many layers as my Trygon). Once the tourney is over I am going to go back and tidy him up.

Mephiston!

Here is a commission piece I did for a friend of mine. It is Mephiston for the Lamentors space marine army (basically blood angels). This I think is the best overall miniature I have ever painted and the sad thing is the pictures really dont do it justice. Ah well. Enjoy!

The Sanguinor

Here is the first completed model for my new Sanguinary Guard Blood Angels Army. I was originally going to do this army in white, but after a couple test models I quickly put the kybosh on that lol. I am trying a lot of new things on this guy ranging from the NMM shading on his sword to trying to highlight the metallic paints as if they were matte paints. Heck, even the red is a slightly new technique for me. Overall I am quite pleased with him although there are a few places I know I can improve. I am going to wait to do the general of the army last (Dante).
