Mawloc!

I finally got off my butt and painted this guy. I have a tournament coming up in two weeks and after a couple of test games I really wanted to make sure he was in my list. I have to say the Trygon/Mawloc kit is one of the best ones GW makes. I just loved painting this guy. Overall I am really happy how he turned out. I did rush him a little bit (he doesnt have as many layers as my Trygon). Once the tourney is over I am going to go back and tidy him up.

Great looking model. I love the green and purple, it really looks dynamic. Also great pose. You really captured the 'I just tunneled up, and now I'm gonna eat ya' look. Great work.

Gosh, he doesn't look as if he needs much tidying up to me.

Despite the dead Ultramarine, I'm forced to approve of this model. The fact that it portrays a scene, with the broken earth, and dirt on it's back, you really get a sense that it's erupting from the ground. Super stuff. :)

wow, that is a very nice colour scheme you got there?
How did you paint the skin tone and the purple?
