Lilith Finished!

On a whim last night after looking at my Ravagers I decided I wanted to do something different and take a crack at one of the last two characters I had to paint (Lilith and the new Urien). So, obviously Lilith won as I am hoping to take her to a tournament at the beginning of next month. I have to say that even though she was fairly fun to paint I would put her in my top 3 hardest models I have ever painted. She took just over 6 hours from start to finish (maybe 7) and my camera just doesn't show the actual detail that is on the fig in real life (she is MUCH cleaner). Ah well, might be time to get a real camera lol.

Next Up: Ravagers! For "realz" this time lol!

Wyche squad 1...FINISHED!

After much work the first squad of Wyches is finally finished. While these models are really fun to paint it is surprising just how time consuming they are lol. Never realized just how many little details are all over these figs. The unit I am really starting to dread painting now that I am finished half of my Wyches are the Hellions...as they are just Wyches with skyboards...sigh.

Overall I am really happy how they turned out and I am really liking how the colour scheme looks on these guys. They have the same scheme as the warriors but extra things like brown boots and their skin as well as the metal weapons really makes things 'pop' as it were.

Dark Eldar Raiders!

It is that time of year again when work just 100% dies off lol. In the last 2 weeks I have painted more then the rest of the year combined (well...almost lol). I finished these two Raiders last week and I have almost finished my 3 Ravagers and my first block of 10 Wyches (both of which will be coming shortly). Overall I am pleased with how they turned out, although they are slightly darker then my original one (didnt notice till I was finished and held them up together lol). I still have to do their bases since the entire army has scenic bases, but I am going to do that after I get my 1500pts army finished. After this block of units I will have 20 Hellions, the Baron and my squad of Warp Beasts then everything I own for DE will be finished!
