On a whim last night after looking at my Ravagers I decided I wanted to do something different and take a crack at one of the last two characters I had to paint (Lilith and the new Urien). So, obviously Lilith won as I am hoping to take her to a tournament at the beginning of next month. I have to say that even though she was fairly fun to paint I would put her in my top 3 hardest models I have ever painted. She took just over 6 hours from start to finish (maybe 7) and my camera just doesn't show the actual detail that is on the fig in real life (she is MUCH cleaner). Ah well, might be time to get a real camera lol.
Next Up: Ravagers! For "realz" this time lol!

Regarding that outfit she's wearing: the pants look a little, well, you wouldn't want to catch them on the door handle as you walk past. Oooh!
Outstanding job again Ghoulio I'm looking forward to seeing some action shots of the newest army. Did you check out the total war AAR on Covering Fire?
Nice work, she looks great
Awesome stuff again Ghoulio! I particularly like the highlighting on the black leggings. You gotta post the army list soon too!
@ Big Willie: Yeah, I saw the battle report, awesome stuff. I freaking LOVED the table you guys had set up. Makes you feel like you are right in the battle while it is happening. As I have said many times I wish the 40k terrain out there made the boards look like that :)
@ Keith: Thanks! Once I am done the last of my 1500pts list I am going to post the list I have been using for the last little while as some decent army pics. I have been using Incubi so far and I gotta say I am super un-impressed with them. The Wyche squads out preform them every last game, hands down. I do plan on switching them out for some trueborn in venoms at some point :)
Looks great again man, We need to get a game in sometime soon!

Hey, its andrew (as in stu's brother). Looks like the wracks are out. Though they're fucking $45 for 5........
Hey Andrew,
Don't even get me started on the fucking Finecast models. Sure it's sweet having models in resin instead of metal, but for a 50% price hike for most kits, no a chance. Here are a couple other "deals".
- Lictors are now $45 EACH!
- A box of 5 Incubi are $50, up from $35
Another awesome thing to consider is that they are almost 50% more then the same kits from the US and England (those wracks ou mentioned are $33 from the states). If you order them from the warstore you can literally get 2 for 1. I have also yet to see this amazing increase in quality they keep shoving down our throats. Way more flash, much more clean up not to mention lots of bubbles. Sigh. Pretty good time to take a break I guess :)
It is indeed a fucking joke. Especially when resin is a cheaper method of production. You'd think with the economy being relatively weak still, and with stores closing in many places they would be trying to pass some deals onto the consumer. But nope... GW likes to keep screwing the.
