Our Miniature legions
A very well executed classical paint scheme for the dark eldar. I think the bases and the beasts makes this really stand out.And great pictures from your friend as well.
Thanks! I have to say I had a lot of fun building and painting the bases for this army. Since these pics were taken I have also added a small amount of flock to the bases which really helps with their colour contrast (you can see it on the warriors in the pics).I actually took the pics myself with my friends camera. It is pretty crazy the difference taking pictures with a camera that has a macro lense over what I have lol.Eventually at some point when I actually get inspired I am going to do some design work on the Vehicles/Bikes as well as symbols on the sails. Who knows when I will get around to that though :)
Really great, fantastic work
Really awesome work man. Once again, you have surpassed yourself.
Hi there!Have you already checked out my new hobby blog, Tale of Painters? I've joined forces with Sigur and Garfy, whose models you've probably seen in various forums or on the blog on GW.com. We've got tutorials, showcases, reviews and various projects going on, e.g. Garfy posts about assembling and painting a mighty Thunderhawk! We've also started a new Blog Network! Join by adding a Tale of Painters banner to your blog, and your newest posts will appear in the Network widget over at Tale of Painters! A great way to promote your blog and find new readers! On top of that, the crew at Tale of Painters keeps a close eye to the Network and will present the best posts in a post of their own!So come over and check out http://www.taleofpainters.com, I'd very glad about it ;)
@Stahly: Yeah...pretty much all my favorite web painters on one website...consider me signed up lol. Your Saim-Hann Eldar I would rate as the best looking Eldar army I have ever seen and Garfy has some of the best models out there (he seems to collect everything that I do lol - Space Marines, Tyranids then Dark Eldar lol).
I've added the Tale of Painters widget and given our blog URL to them to be included on their blog roll. It looks like an awesome sight.
